We have good news for you! If you already own a NET10 phone and use it for regular calls, you can register FREE to this service on our web site. With NET10 International Long Distance you can call over 60 international destinations including Mexico. Once you are registered, just dial *1 and press the “Send/Answer” key, then follow the instructions. - How much does NET10 International Long Distance cost?
NET10 International Long Distance deducts the same amount of minutes from your phone as when you make calls to destinations within the US plus 5 cents per minute. In other words, you can make international calls from the United States to over 60 international destinations for ONLY 5 cents per minute plus airtime. This way NET10 Wireless lets you stay close to family and friends in other countries with the convenience of calling whenever and wherever you want.
The deduction starts from the moment in which a call is attempted.

- Can I make long distance calls from other cell phones or landlines?
No. The NET10 International Long Distance service is only available to NET10 Wireless customers who make their international calls directly from their NET10 phone (please refer to the list of over 60 destinations available).

- Is there an additional cost for this service?
The same minute deductions to make a regular call will be deducted plus 5 cents per minute when making an international long distance call using NET10 International Long Distance. Note: the deduction starts from the moment in which a call is attempted. International long distance calls usually experience connection failures more frequently than long distance calls within the United States. NET10 will not credit airtime deducted in attempts to place calls, which are not successful.

- Do I need a card or a PIN number to make long distance calls using NET10 International Long Distance?
No, with NET10 International Long Distance the airtime is deducted from the balance available on your NET10 phone (displayed on the screen). All you need to do is to register FREE your NET10 phone to this service using our web site. - Can I dial the international destination number directly or do I need to dial an access number first?
All you need is to dial *1 and press the “Send/Answer” key; then follow the instructions to dial your international destination phone number. Note: In order to use the NET10 International Long Distance service you need to have your NET10 phone registered. If you haven’t registered your phone yet, please do so on our web site, the registration is FREE. Also, please do not press the “Send” key after dialing your destination number or you may end your call inadvertently.

- Do I have to provide my credit card?
No. With NET10 International Long Distance, no contracts are required, no accounts, no credit checks and no credit card requirements. You just need enough minutes on your phone to make the call, and to add airtime cards before your service due date to maintain your service active.

No. NET10 cell phones don’t work outside of the United States, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

- Does the cost vary based on the international destination?
No. The same minutes will be deducted as they are currently deducted on calls you make with your NET10 to destinations in the United States plus 5 cents per minute, regardless of the international destination, as long as it is a destination within our worldwide service coverage (please refer to the complete list of available international destinations).

- What happens if the connection fails when I make a call using NET10 International Long Distance? Will I be able to retrieve my minutes?
NET10 Wireless doesn’t credit airtime for attempted local or international calls that couldn’t go through.

- I have a TracFone. Can I use NET10 International Long Distance with my TracFone cell phone?
No. TracFone clients can use the TracFone International Long Distance service to make international calls. NET10 International Long Distance is a different service than TracFone International Long Distance.

- What is the difference between NET10 International Long Distance and NET10 International Neighbors?
NET10 International Neighbors is a service that allows you to obtain AT NO CHARGE three Mexican or Canadian phone numbers, which your family and friends (in those countries) can dial, and you will receive those calls directly at your NET10 phone in the United States. With NET10 International Neighbors your family and friends in Mexico or Canada won’t pay international long distance charges, and you will pay just a regular call.
NET10 International Long Distance is a service for you to make calls to over 60 international destinations from your NET10 phone at a cost of a regular call plus 5 cents per minute.

- Can I make International calls with NET10 International Long Distance while I am roaming? What is the additional cost?
Yes, you can make international calls while in roaming. The same airtime deduction will apply as when in roaming within the United States plus 5 cents per minute. Regular roaming charges will apply when dialing long distance or international.

- Can I receive international calls to my NET10 cell phone? How many minutes will be deducted?
Yes, the same amount of minutes will be deducted as when you receive a call from a local phone. In addition, if you use our FREE NET10 International Neighbors service, your family and friends in Mexico or Canada can dial a phone number in those countries to call you at your NET10 phone, so that they don’t have to pay international long distance charges! Please refer to the section NET10 International Neighbors for more information.

- What should I dial to make an international long distance call from my NET10 cell phone?
On your cell phone press the asterisk key (*), the number 1 key, and the “Send/Answer” key; you will hear a message instructing you to dial: 011 + country code + city code + phone number. Note: Please wait to be connected; do not press any other key on your NET10 or your call might be disconnected.

- Should I have a certain minimum amount of minutes on my NET10 to dial internationally?
There is no minimum amount of minutes you need to use this service, however since NET10 is a prepaid cell phone service look at your airtime balance display to see how many minutes you have left and determine if that is enough. Also be sure to keep your phone service active by adding minutes before the service due date also displayed on your phone.

- If by mistake I dial the wrong number will I be credited for the call?
Net10 Wireless will not credit airtime used because you dialed the wrong number, or for delays in getting through to the international number.

- Do I need a special card to use the NET10 International Long Distance service?
There is no need to buy any long distance card. The regular NET10 airtime cards you add to your NET10 phone provide you with airtime for you to make your international calls, that is, the airtime is always deducted from your balance whether it is a local, long distance, roaming, or international call. Remember that an international call costs only 5 cents per minute more than a regular call.
